I like to refer to myself as a jack of all trades; I excel in high stress situations and by default, tend to pick up new skills as a means to get the job done. In my career, I have managed social media accounts with immediate growth, written excellent press releases on day one, taught myself video and audio editing, conducted interviews with minimal notice, and much more.
My educational background started in theatre and interpersonal, nonverbal, and speech communications. From there, it grew into a love for media and production. I still freelance in production and post-production on occasion, just for the joy of it. Realizing my love for media was much more than just a side gig, I received my masters degree in Communication and Media, focusing in Digital Media and Ethics.
My love for ethics brought me towards non-profits and research organizations, where I have worked in domestic violence research and directly with poverty and homelessness. My passion for my community has always been present in my career and my goals of passing my passion onto the younger generation has been realized with my recent hiring at Rider University, one of my alma mater, to teach at a collegiate level. I appreciate you taking the time to come to my website and read a bit more about what makes me, well... me.
